Kent is where the Litchfield Hills get serious. The Housatonic runs the length of town, the Appalachian Trail walks straight through it, and every October the ridgelines pull leaf-peepers up Route 7 by the thousand. Thru-hikers know Kent as one of the friendliest resupply stops in New England, the place where the trail trades woods for a real Main Street with coffee and a bookstore. A few miles apart sit two of the town's icons: Kent Falls stepping 250 feet down its staircase of cascades, and the weathered covered bridge at Bulls Bridge, where the river squeezes through a rocky flume. Our Kent design brings those together, falls and bridge framed the way you remember them rather than the way a postcard flattens them.
