Stonington, CT Shirts
ShirtMap's hometown shirt page for Stonington, Connecticut. Local businesses that sell their own shirts appear here as they join the map.
Stonington narrows to a point, and the point is the whole story. The Borough runs out into Fishers Island Sound one street at a time until the land quits at the little beach and the old stone lighthouse, with the last working commercial fishing fleet in Connecticut tied up along the way. Portuguese fishermen have shaped this village for generations, the cannons on the green really did drive off a British squadron in 1814, and the whole place still smells faintly and honestly of salt. Our Stonington design honors the working end of town: the 1840 lighthouse squared off above the breakwater and the draggers heading out past it. No yacht-club gloss, just the point as it is. We drew it for Borough people, for summer people who wish they were, and for anyone who has eaten scallops within sight of the boat that caught them. When Stonington shops add their own shirts to ShirtMap, you will find them here with it.
