Adding a shirt or product listing
How to submit a listing, what the form asks for, and what happens after you submit.
Before you start
- Your first listing must be a shirt — it becomes your pin on the map (ShirtMap stays a shirt map). Once you have an active shirt, Premium businesses can also list other product types like hoodies.
- The Free plan includes 1 listing; Premium includes up to 10. See Free vs. Premium.
What the form asks for
From the Products section of your dashboard:
- Name, description, and price — what buyers see on your shirt's public page.
- Photos — a front photo is required; a back photo is optional but recommended. Clear, well-lit photos get approved faster.
- How people buy it — in-store, a link (your online store or a Stripe Payment Link), or DM/social. If you've set up selling on ShirtMap, you can also sell it directly here.
- Location — your town, region, and ZIP/postal code place the shirt on the map. You choose between your precise address or an approximate ZIP-area pin; see Map pins and location.
- Tags — optional labels that help people find your shirt when filtering the map.
After you submit
Every listing is reviewed by the ShirtMap team before it goes live. You'll see its status in the Products section — Pending review, then Live once approved. If we need something changed, it shows Needs changes. See Listing statuses explained.
