Map pins and location
Precise vs. approximate pins, and choosing which shirt is your map pin.
Precise pin or approximate pin
Each listing has a map location source, which you pick on the listing form (and can change any time by editing the listing):
- Precise location / address — the pin sits exactly at your street address. Best for storefronts that want walk-in traffic.
- ZIP / postal code — the pin is placed at a randomized spot within your ZIP area, so your exact address stays private.
Shirts submitted by the community default to the approximate option. After you claim your listing, switch it to your precise address on the edit form if you want people to find your door.
Choosing which shirt is your map pin
Your business appears on the map as one pin, and that pin is always a shirt.
- With one shirt, that shirt is your pin automatically.
- Premium businesses with two or more approved shirts get a Map pin selector in the Products section of the dashboard — choose whichever shirt should represent you on the map. The rest still appear on your shop page and in browse results.
