Watch Hill, RI Shirts

The horses at Watch Hill hang from chains, and when the carousel gets going they swing wide and fly. This is the Flying Horse Carousel, spinning at the edge of the village since 1883 and believed to be the oldest carousel of its kind still operating in America.

Children have been leaning off those horses to grab for the brass ring for generations. Beyond it, the village does what it has always done: bluffs roll down to the water, sailboats swing on their moorings, and a lighthouse has marked the point for more than two centuries. Watch Hill is a summer place with a long memory.
