Millinocket, ME Shirts
ShirtMap's hometown shirt page for Millinocket, Maine. Local businesses that sell their own shirts appear here as they join the map.
They called Millinocket the Magic City because it rose out of the woods almost overnight: a whole town assembled around a paper mill at the turn of the last century, much of it built by Italian stonemasons who came for the work and stayed for good. The mill ran for a hundred years, give or take, and when it finally went quiet the mountain took over the job of defining the place. Katahdin owns the horizon here. It is the crown of Baxter State Park and the northern end of the Appalachian Trail, which means every fall the town fills with hikers who have just walked from Georgia and want proof. Our Millinocket design is the proof: Katahdin's long blue silhouette, a canoe crossing the water beneath it, gateway lettering for a gateway town. Whether you finished the trail or just drove up to look at what the finishers were climbing, it wears the same. Local Millinocket businesses will show up on this page as they come aboard ShirtMap.
