About Brattleboro
In 1922 a Brattleboro skier talked his neighbors into building the biggest ski jump in the Northeast, and the town has been launching people off Harris Hill ever since; within two years it was hosting national championships. That is Brattleboro in miniature: a river town on the Connecticut that keeps deciding, against all sensible advice, to do the interesting thing.
These days the interesting thing is mostly art. Galleries fill the brick downtown, studios hide upstairs, and on the right evening the whole place turns into one long opening. The river slides past below it all, wide and patient, the way it has since the town began as a fort.
On the shirt
Our Brattleboro design catches the town midair: a jumper soaring over the rooftops, the Connecticut River curving beneath, arts and altitude sharing one shirt.
