North Conway, NH Shirts

Right in the middle of North Conway's village green sits a Victorian train station, built in 1874 and still dispatching trains, which tells you what kind of town this is: one that never threw anything good away. A scenic railroad runs from that platform up the valley toward the notch, and from Main Street the view runs farther still, all the way to Mount Washington whenever the summit deigns to come out of the clouds. For generations this has been the basecamp of the White Mountains, where the ski trips, hikes, and foliage drives all begin and end.
